July 30, 2008--Wed of vacation

Well our day was really good. We spent the morning at the museum and it was great. They had a blast there all the kids did. Then we went to this great pizza place: The Mellow Mushroom it was so good the Bailey ate 2 pieces of pizza and Casey ate 1 whole piece. Then we went back to the house and swam. Daniel went to the beach and found his 2nd and 3rd sand dollar and a star fish. Then it started to storm so everyone stayed in the water and hid under the rafts except for Daniel and mom they stayed in the hot tub. Me and Jenny got out and took pictures then got into the dry house. Later Daniel decided to get into the ocean and I tried to get the girls to take naps that didn't work they stayed awake. To my surprise they did well the entire day even though they didn't have naps. I looked out at the ocean and I saw Daniel swimming in the ocean. I did notice he was the only one out there and a little bit later Daniel noticed to and came in. He said he thought with the rain and thunder that he should get out since no one else was in the ocean but him. He scares me to death sometimes. To end the day we went to a resturant called sticky fingers it was a rib & BBQ place. It was pretty good they didn't let us sit together they had us at 2 tables but I guess we can't complain to much it was a good time. Until Casey got sick on me and herself. I don't think she is sick, she doesn't act sick but we will see. Well I am now at home doing the blog and the girls are asleep and I'm going to go get into the hot tub with my husband. I know what a way to end a day but don't feel sorry for us we are doing ok. lol

Everyone was swimming. Then all of a sudden it started to rain. Everyone got under the floats except for Daniel and mom. The float to the right is Bailey and Papa. Those are rain drops you see in the picture.

July 29, 2008--Tuesday of Vacation

Well today was a good day. We started out kinda bad. Someone during the night got into the pool and ended up pooping in the hot tub. Well we got the pool guy to come and clean the hot tub and fix the pool water and hot tub water. So while he was doing that we had to find something to do. We ended up taking the girls to the Childrens Museum. It was really fun. I forgot my camera so the pictures are from my cell phone. That place was great they had a grocery store for the kids, a castle, science stuff, water area, wall to paint on and much more. We are going back Wed morning so I will be sure to take my camera and get alot more pictures. I did put the pictures I got onto the blog so I hope you enjoy them. They won't be as good as my camera but they will do for the day. We had a guy come to the house to take pictures for everyone on the beach tonight. We had a big family picture some of the kids by themself and single shots of the family. It went really good I can't wait to see them. I think everyone is having fun and the kids are getting along great. I will post more Wed. Hope you enjoy what I have for you all today.

July 28, 2008--Monday at the beach.

Well we ended Sunday night with leaving Bailey and Griffin alone upstairs to go to sleep. Only Bailey decided to share her nightgowns and Griffin picked the spongebob one. It was so cute.

Since Bailey and Sophia found a snake in the pool we had to find something else to do instead of get into the pool. So we had monkey bread for breakfast and went to the "Pirate's Cove" to play.

Poor kids behind him he just gives them a look and they cry.....lol(just kidding) they were waiting or they were watching him because they couldn't believe a adult was getting into this game as much as Daniel was. You would have thought he was in a real shoot out.lol

Well about 4 mins later I hear some screams and here comes Sophia and then Daniel comes with Bailey. They both got stung by some Jelly beans (jelly fish) from the ocean. We got online and took care of the sings and I think they are on the mend. I don't know if you will have any more ocean pictures but they are fine now and alseep upstairs. Poor things they were scared and now that they are asleep and they can't hear me so was I. It won't hurt my feelings at all if they don't get back into the ocean. I just hope they get into the pool. We will check for snakes first thing in the morning before they get up so they won't get scared again.

Griffin came to the beach with us but wouldn't get into the ocean. Looks like he had a good idea. He didn't get stung he was safe in the sand digging.

July 27, 2008--Isle of Palm our Vacation

Well the trip was long but ok. The girls did really good. Bailey didn't cry and finally slept the last hour of the ride. Casey talked loud the first oh 4 hours very loudly. She didn't cry much but boy everyone was glad to get to the house. It was about 10 to 11 hour drive and it is done until we have to head home.

Our first day here we went into the pool and down to the beach. It was wonderful. Not to hot just right. We cooked out hot dogs and hamburgers and just hung around the house. Casey and Emily shared a room so far so good. Bailey, Griffin and Sophia are sharing a room I really feel sorry for Sophia. Me and Daniel have a king size bed and boy we are not use to the space it is nice it will be hard to go home to a queen size bed. This morning Papa make pancakes, bacon and sausage for breakfast and we spent the morning in the pool and on the beach. Jenny and Travis fixed mexican food for dinner and it was really good. Then we all went to get ice cream. We are now back at the house just all sitting around talking and laughing. The kids are asleep and I am ready for another hard day of laying around getting sun. lol
